Iconic yumminess

Ooh-lala. Cherchez La Bardot! All the lovely pretties are from The Zeldman. Thinking of uses for them now but not as replacement for my cat, of course.

It used to be that having a favicon meant that you owned the domain (or, at least, had access to the root directory). But no longer. Now all you need's access to the head. It doesn't even have to be an ICO file anymore, even. Placing your own favicon feels a bit like cheating, though, when you boot the original favicon from a service like Blogger. (Which is why I put in the optional badge.)

In my mania for detail and tiny blingy things, I also used to make animated 80x15's guaranteed to trigger migraines in the susceptible. But I had one favorite button that I found somewhere I can't remember anymore. It's this:
